kindergarten

  • Our kindergarten program is a full day academic program, 8:15-2:45PM.
  • Students need to be 5 years of age by October 1st of that academic year to be part of our kindergarten class.
  • An informal academic assessment is conducted for all incoming kindergarten students.
  • Kindergarten is very exciting academic year!  Students begin to develop work habits that will carry through the rest of their schooling.
  • Reading and language are taught through the ABeka Language Arts curriculum, an in-depth phonics-based program.
  • The Saxon Math curriculum introduces students to math skills, enables them to develop strategies, learn early math literacy and build confidence in math abilities.
  • Our Social Studies and Science curricula are faith-based and teach kindergartners about God's world.  Our ACSI Bible curriculum makes learning both Old and New Testament stories engaging and relevant to kindergartners.
  • All kindergarten students participate in the following specials: PE, Art, Music, and Spanish.
